There is something very degrating about the post office. Perhaps the system truly is too complex for the average human being to comprehand; with the wide variety of labels for various circumstances as well as the numerous methods of shipping. Still, I think it possible that a person of reasonable intellect, such as myself, would be capable of using an automated machine without a postal employee standing uncomfortably close behind them reading outloud the self explainitory instructions on the screen and paraphrasing it into lamens terms.
i.e. "Does your package fit into the shipping slot? What it's asking is if your package fits in that hole in the wall."
Thank god that man was there.
Does everyone get harrased like this at the post office or is it just feeble minded woman who need help?
